When 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' got announced, many expected it to be a regular love story featuring Sonam K Ahuja and Rajkummar Rao in the lead. However, the trailer of the film pulled down the curtains on all such notions.

The Sonam and Anil Kapoor starrer treads the path that many conventional Bollywood filmmakers and actors shy away from: same-sex love. Ever since the trailer of 'ELKDTAL' hit the web, people have been eager to know who plays Sonam's love interest in the film.

While rumours had always been rife about South Indian actress Regina Cassandra making her Bollywood debut with the film, her part in 'ELKDTAL' has been kept under tight wraps. She has seemingly been barred from posting any pictures from the sets of the film. Regina also doesn't feature in any of the film's official posters. However, our well-placed sources have confirmed that it's indeed Regina who is playing Sonam's lesbian partner.
