After 14 years of marriage, Shreyas Talpade and wife Deepti blessed with baby girl

Golmaal actor Shreyas Talpade has been married to Deepti for over 14 years now and on May 4th, the couple welcomed their first child. 

The couple became proud parents of a beautiful baby girl via surrogacy. Interestingly, the couple was away holidaying in Hong Kong when the news reached them and they rushed back home to welcome their baby girl. As per Mumbai Mirror report, the baby was expected to arrive on May 10th and 12th, so Shreyas and Deepti flew out of the country for a quick holiday hoping they will be back in time for the delivery.  Shreyas told Mumbai daily, “On the way (to the cruise in Hong Kong), we learnt that the surrogate mother had gone into labour prematurely so we changed our plans and headed back to India the same night.”

The couple rushed to the hospital immediately after they landed in the country. Shreyas in on cloud nine but continues to joke about the excitement in his life. He said, “Seems our little girl has a stubborn streak and didn’t want us to go to Hong Kong without her.” The actor further added that there were certain issues because of which they had to chose surrogacy. But Shreyas calls it “one of the best decisions of my life.”

According to Shreyas, everyone in his family has already decided that their beti resembles the mother and not him. He said, “I think she looks more like Deepti with her round face but her features are changing every day.”
