Bollywood is gearing up for Sonam Kapoor and her beau Anand Ahuja's big fat wedding on May 8th. Daddy Anil Kapoor's house is decked up with lights, guests have started pouring in, cousins including Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor are busy with their dance rehearsals for the full filmy sangeet ceremony.
Interestingly, not just daddy dear is busy with preps for the big day but even his wax statue is in celebratory mood. Anil Kapoor's wax statue in Madame Tussauds' Delhi museum has been dressed up for the occasion and we must say Kapoor senior looks 'Jhakaas'. The Instagram post reads, " Its celebration time at #TussaudsDelhi. @anilskapoor kapoor is dressed up in a traditional attire for his daughter @sonamkapoor’s big fat punjabi wedding with @anandahuja."

While the families and their friends are refraining from talking about the wedding celebrations, the wedding invites reveal that the Mehendi will take place on Monday, May 7, late in the afternoon at Sonam’s plush pad in Bandra Kurla Complex. The dress code is ‘Indian Festive — Shades of White’. The wedding ceremony will take place the following morning, May 8, at Sonam’s aunt Kavita Singh’s bungalow Rockdale in Bandstand, Bandra, where the guests are expected to dress in ‘Indian Traditional’.
The grand reception will take place on the same evening at The Leela. The families have invited the guests for the ‘party’ to join them for ‘an evening of dance and music to celebrate Sonam & Anand’. The dress code is ‘Indian or Western Formal’.
