Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are at it once again - making headlines and grabbing the eyeballs across the globe. Soon after Nick's arrival in Mumbai along with his family, speculations about the couple planning to make it official got a whiff of confirmation. Remember, we were the first to tell you that Nick and his family will be joining Priyanka in Mumbai for a big bash that the actress is planning to host. We had also told you that Priyanka has sent out messages to those close to her in the industry to set aside time on Augut 18 (which is today).
A source had exclusively told DNA After Hrs that PC is planning to make an official announcement about her engagement to beau Nick at the bash. Nick was spotted with his family at Mumbai's International airport on Thursday and of course, it sent the media into a tizzy.
Now, looks like the bash that Priyanka plans to hold tonight, has much more in store than it being just an announcement party. Why do we say so? Well, if a report on BollywoodLife is to be believed, then a roka ceremony is to take place on Saturday at 10 am, to make things official the Indian way, before the big official announcement.
A source was quoted as saying by the portal, "A roka ceremony has been planned for 10 am tomorrow. They wanted to make things official in the right way. Nick’s family has also flown down for the same and Priyanka’s family is hosting them.”
Reports doing the rounds suggest that Priyanka and Nick will tie the knot sometime in October end this year. Another report on E!News quoted a source as saying,"Nick Jonas and his immediate family are traveling to India this weekend to attend an engagement party hosted by Priyanka’s family. It’s going to be the first time that their families intermingle and get to know each other. It’s a tradition for them to meet before the wedding and Priyanka’s family insisted on hosting the Jonas family in their country."
