Dabangg 3 Box Office Report Day 6: Salman Khan's film takes week to enter Rs 100-crore-club

Salman Khan-Sonakshi Sinha starrer Dabangg 3 was considered a flop after the movie's low collections. However, surprisingly, the movie witnessed 65% growth on Wednesday, in comparison to its Wednesday collections. The movie received the benefit of Christmas, but not much.

Dabangg 3, starring Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Saiee Manjrekar in the lead roles, did not gather many footfalls in big multiplexes. The festival, however, worked in favour of the film. The reason for lesser footfalls could also be contributed to exorbitant ticket prices.

Dabangg 3 has now minted Rs. 107 crore in total. It took nearly a week to reach the mark, which is sad news considering it is a Salman Khan franchise film. In other cases, Dabangg 3 could have easily minted Rs. 125-130 crore by day 6. The film received a big blow due to CAA protests around the country.

The movie is still on thin ice since Thursday collections will prove whether Dabangg 3 is a hit or not. If the movie drops on Thursday, it could mean that this film is a flop. Directed by Prabhudheva, Dabangg 3 also stars Arbaaz Khan back as Makkhi Singh and Loveyatri actress Warina Hussain in the song Munna Badnaam Hua.
