Fanney Khan Trailer: Twitter can't seem to get enough of 'Baby Singh' Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

After intriguiging the fans with the posters, the makers of 'Fanney Khan' finally released the much-anticipated trailer of the film on Friday. While Anil Kapoor surely won hearts with his honest portrayal of a father who wants to fulfill his daughter's dream of becoming a singer, it was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who stole the limelight in the role of Baby Singh, a pop star.

Her chemistry with Rajkummar Rao is being loved so much that now people are demanding a full-fledged film with these two as the leads. With both funny and emotional scenes in the two-minute trailer, Raj and Aishwarya took the audience on a roller-coaster ride of emotions.

While not much is known about the film's plot a lot can be deciphered from the synopsis of Dutch film 'Everybody’s Famous', which Fanney Khan is said to be a remake of. It says, “When a family man suddenly loses his job, he is desperate to have his daughter succeed as a singer. In a chance meeting he kidnaps the most famous pop star in the country and holds her hostage, demanding to be heard by the music industry.”

Helmed by Atul Manjrekar, the one of its kind musical comedy is slated to hit the screens on August 3 this year.
