Sushant Singh Rajput's demise came as a shock to his fans, who have been suspecting the actor was murdered. They pointed out that Wikipedia had revealed the actor's death even before it actually happened and was discovered by the police at 12.30 pm. However, is that the truth? Here's taking a closer look at it.

The Wikipedia page was updated at 8.59 am, a minute before Sushant spoke to his sister on call. The actor reportedly drank juice at 10 pm and locked himself in his room. That left fans wondering who was able to predict Sushant's death hours before the actor was actually found dead.

Sushant's page was indeed updated at 9 am, like mentioned in the tweets, but there is a crucial detail which the fans missed. Wikipedia updates on Coordinated Universal Tiem (UTC), which is approximately 5.30 hours behind the Indian Standard Time (IST). Hence, if the Wikipedia page was updated at 9 am UTC, the page was actually updated around 2.29 pm IST, which is when news of Sushant's demise broke.

Sushant was found hanging in his Bandra home on Sunday, June 14, 2020. The actor's househelp discovered his body. Sushant did not leave any suicide note, post which the Mumbai Police has been investigating if there was any foul play in the actor's death. They have currently investigated over 28 people, including Sushant's close friend Rhea Chakraborty and his 'Dil Bechara' co-star Sanjana Sanghi.
