On February 24, 2018, the whole nation was in shock when the sad news broke that legendary actor Sridevi passed away due to accidental drowning in Dubai. It's going to be a year of this tragic incident and people can still feel the void of Sridevi. Her family members are often seen talking about her whenever asked. Last week, as per Hindu customs, a special puja was held on Sridevi's first death anniversary in Chennai.

In a recent interview with a portal, Sridevi's niece and actor Sonam K Ahuja was asked about her favourite movie and a fond memory with the legendary actor. To which she replied, "I think my favourite film of hers is Mr India. And my childhood memory of hers is her living with me in my house for many many years. And her letting me watch Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke on her television in her bedroom. I’ll never forget that."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonam will next be seen in The Zoya Factor, based on the book of the same name by Anuja Chauhan. In the film, the fashion icon is paired opposite Malayalam heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan.

Talking about Sridevi, her co-star of many films and brother-in-law Anil Kapoor earlier said to a tabloid, "She was my brother’s wife and my wife’s friend as they connected really well. Whenever we met there was always fun, laughter and humour. People like Sri Ji are difficult to forget. Her body of work is fabulous and inspiring. Her films are still being seen and pictures still being published everywhere. She will always be missed."
