Raazi box office collection: Alia Bhatt film is unstoppable, earns Rs 6.30 crores on Monday

Director Meghna Gulzar's film has already registered its position as the fifth highest opener after Padmavat, Baaghi 2, Raid and Pad Man with over Rs 32 crores in just 3 days of its release. 

Weekdays are also looking good as the spy-thriller raked in Rs 6.30 crore on Monday and now stands with the grand total of Rs 39.24 crore.

By looking at the current trend, it won't be surprising if Alia Bhatt's Raazi manages to rake in around Rs 55 crore by the end of its opening week. Despite not being a masala entertainer film and no superstar backing, Raazi has garnered good box office innings thanks to the power packed performances from the ensemble cast and good word of mouth publicity.  Raazi is also expected to cross the lifetime collections of nice Bollywood releases like Varun Dhawan's October and Rani Mukerji's Hichki and others. Raazi will the surpass the collections of Shaandaar (Rs 43 crore) today at the ticket windows.

 Raazi features Alia Bhatt in the role of Kashmiri girl Sehmat who is married off to Pakistani army officer to spy for her nation. Vicky Kaushal plays her reel husband and real life mother Soni Razdan plays Alia's reel mom for the big screen adaptation of Harinder Sikka's novel 'Calling Sehmat'.

I don’t know how many patriotic movies have had this kind of impact on the viewer, but Raazi has you all mushy and determined to protect your country. For me it worked than most war-dramas."
