After his recently released directorial, Race 3, Remo D’souza ventures into production with Time To Dance, starring Sooraj Pancholi and Isabelle Kaif. While this happens to be Sooraj’s second film after Hero (2015), it marks the Bollywood debut of Katrina Kaif’s younger sister. The choreographer-filmmaker is overseeing that the dance-based romance shapes as visualised by the debutant director and his erstwhile assistant, Stanley D’Costa.

Multiple Dance Forms

Remo, who has also written this film, had flown off to London to shoot some of the songs. Our source says, “Since it’s a musical love story, there are plenty of dance forms that the makers are attempting to show and the songs are rather elaborate too.” Sooraj reveals, “We have around eight songs. Remo sir has joined us in London because he will be choreographing all the tracks.”

Romantic Number Picturised

The actor adds, “We have finished shooting three out of the six songs that we are supposed to film. One of them is a romantic track, featuring me and Isabelle, and the other two are complete dance numbers. We have used a mixed bag of different dance forms for each song.”

Two-Song Dance Climax

The film revolves around the two actors participating in a dance competition. “We will first finish shooting six of the eight songs. The other two, which are a part of the climax sequence, will be shot later. One of them is a dance track while the other is a romantic number with a lot of montage shots,” the young actor adds.

Finalising Things

Remo is staying with the team till the shooting wraps up. They are on a two-month start-to-finish schedule and have already completed around 40 days of shoot. During the next 20-25 days, they will be filming the other songs. Sooraj says, “Remo sir is flying to India to check how the footage has turned out. He will be back again next week to shoot the other three dance numbers. We have been shooting in different locations — on the streets of London and around the countryside. We will be working continuously till August 14, when we wrap up the the principal shoot.”
