Time travellers! Salman Khan will play 18 year old while Shahid Kapoor will revisit his 20s on the big screen

Age is just a number for the good looking actors like Salman Khan and Shahid Kapoor who are ready to transform themselves for every role they play.

After playing a Rajput ruler in Padmaavat, Shahid will next be seen in Batti Gul Meter Chalu where he plays the role of a lawyer. That's not it, he will be learning how to speak Garwali and will also undergo major transoformation for the part again. According to Mumbai Mirror report, 36 year old actor will be playing the role of a 20 year old again. Costume designers, Neelanchal Ghosh and Darshan Jalan are “working overnight” to get Shahid‘s “look right”. The film which also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam in the lead goes on floors in February. Producer Prerna Arora told Mumbai daily, “Shahid plays a young local boy from Uttarakhand who is a diehard romantic. The costume designer duo has been working with artisans in villages of the North Indian state and sourcing fabrics locally to ensure authenticity. Shahid will be wearing lots of bright sweaters and jackets since the story unfolds in winter."

Now that's a good news for Shahid Kapoor fans who have been looking forward to see the actor drop his stubble and go back to his chocolate boy looks all over again. 

But Shahid Kapoor isn't the only time traveller in Bollywood.

 Salman Khan will also play an 18-year-old in his upcoming film, Bharat. After the super success of Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman will work with filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar once again. He spilled the beans to DNA AfterHrs on Bhaijaan's look in his next and said “We have just locked the script. The idea is to make Salman look the way he appeared in Maine Pyar Kiya – from the time he began his career to now. But we will know how much we can achieve only after our complete research is done.”
