Deepika Padukone wants to work in Shoojit Sircar-Varun Dhawan's 'October'

It is never happened before and only Shoojit Sircar can create magic with this over fresh jodi! Yes, the filmmaker who recently announced his next film, October with Varun Dhawan in the lead, has also been approached by Deepika Padukone for a role.

According to Mumbai Mirror report, even though October is a romantic comedy and Miss Padukone has little to do in the film, she is keen on the being a part of Shoojit's next as well. After all, he is the same director who gave her an award winning role of Piku. 

Varun also shares similar sentiments about working with Sircar. As he shared pictures from the script reading session with the filmmaker, Varun wrote on his Instagram account, "I have been an ardent fan of Shoojit da's work and have always wanted to work with him. The film is titled October. Soojitda, Ronnie and Juhi have always made good cinema. I am lucky to get a chance to work with them."

Shootjit Sircar described October as "It's again an out-of-the box kind of story. we started working on this film's idea from a small newspaper clipping, right after Piku (2015). He further described it as 'very unusual, unconventional kind of a story."  Varun Dhawan will be working with Shoojit for the film time and apart from October, he has 'Judwaa 2' with Jacqueline Fernandez and Tapsee Pannu, and even 'Sui Dhaagha' with Anushka Sharma.
