Whoaa! Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit Nene starrer 'Kalank' goes on floors today

It is not everyday that one comes across a film announcement that spells EXCITING in every possible way.

One-film old Abhishek Varman, who walked away with accolades and a super-hit 2 States (2014) that starred Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor, has managed to pull off a casting coup for his Kalank. What’s more, the epic drama set in the 1940s is being backed by three powerhouse producers. One is Fox Star Studios, the company that recently presented Baaghi 2. And the two producers on board this new announcement are Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE).

The film, which rolls in Mumbai today, is slated to release on Good Friday, April 19, 2019, one of the coveted weekends for Bollywood’s big-ticket releases.

The cast includes the timeless beauty, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, along with youngsters, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and above all, it has the towering Sanjay Dutt.
