The 12th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 ended with Mumbai Indians lifting their 4th title after beating defending champions Chennai Super Kings. The final was a fitting end for the league that saw many close finishes.

David Warner - 692 runs

There are five openers in the top six run-getters in the Indian Premier League this year. So it is tough to select just two. The Purple Cap winner David Warner is an easy choice though. Warner returned to IPL after missing the last season due to the ball-tampering ban.  Warner scored 692 runs at an average of 69.20 with a strike rate of 143.86.
