India begin their Asia Cup 2018 campaign on Tuesday with a clash against Hong Kong at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Honk Kong lost their first match of the tournament against Pakistan on Sunday, and a defeat to India will most-likely bring curtains to their stay in the six-nation tournament.

While India go into Tuesday's match as overwhelming favourites, there are a few players that Rohit Sharma and Co will need to watch out for in the opposition's ranks.

Here are three Hong Kong players to watch out for

Anshuman Rath

He's a 20-year-old, Hong Kong's captain, their opening batsman, and surely one of their most promising cricketers. Rath took over the reigns of the Hong Kong team before the start of the Asia Cup qualifiers last month. The youngster did a remarkable job to lead his side to victory in the qualifiers, notching a hundred and a half-century, and guided his team to the main tournament after a gap of 10 years. He had a quiet outing in Hong Kong's opening game against Pakistan, scoring just 19 from 34 deliveries. Rath will surely be itching to fire on Tuesday and cause the biggest upset of Asia Cup 2018 so far.

Babar Hayat

Arguably Hong Kong's best batsman, Hayat averages a healthy 40 in ODIs and an astonishing 71 in first-class cricket. The right-hander forms the backbone of his team's batting line-up along with skipper Rath. Hayat hasn't been in the best of form lately, but a 107 against UAE at the start of this month will surely give him confidence. The 26-year-old No.3 batsman will need to find his touch if his team are to stand a chance against the mighty Indian team.

Nadeem Ahmed

Every team needs a match-winning spinner in their ranks to be able to compete at the highest level, Pakistani-born Ahmed is that man for Hong Kong. The left-arm spinner finished as the highest wicket-taker for his country in the Asia Cup qualifiers. He got 14 scalps at a brilliant economy rate of 3.46. India are known to be good players of spin, but they would want to keep an eye out for 30-year-old Ahmed when they clash with Hong Kong on Tuesday.

Here are the squads for both teams
