All who remember Virat Kohli's debut time will recall the chubby young lad who was ready to go all guns blazing.

The current Indian skipper made sure to come out of that era as he became of the healthiest and fittest athletes.

Now finishing the decade with more than 20,000 international runs, Kohli expressed his happiness by sharing major throwback images of himself on Instagram.

He captioned it: "#TransformationThursday and my reaction says it all..."

While fans reacted to the image, former England batsman Kevin Pietersen too recalled the time as he once shared the dressing room with Kohli back in 2009-2010.

The duo had he played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. He commented saying: “I remember that guy on the left!!!!”

As for the past 10 years, Kohli burst on to the scene like no other as he captured every milestone that came his way.

The cricketer from Delhi turned his career 360 to become the most prolific run-scorer in all three formats.

Kohli even finds himself in all of Wisden’s Team of the decade. He is also the sole Indian to be named in the top 5 cricketers of the decade.

“His genius has been to rise, time and again, to the challenge. Between the end of the England tour in 2014 and the second Test against Bangladesh at Kolkata in November, Kohli averaged 63, with 21 hundreds and 13 fifties,” said Wisden about Kohli.

“In many ways, there isn’t. Since the retirement of Sachin Tendulkar and the gradual waning of MS Dhoni, no cricketer in the world has operated under such daily pressure as Kohli,” it further added.
