Arjun Tendulkar on Friday impressed the cricket fraternity when he turned into a groundsman to help the staff at a rain-swept Lord’s.
Just after 8.4 overs, the rain stopped the play again on the second day of the ongoing Test between India and England at the Mecca of Cricket.
The official Twitter account of Lord’s Cricket Ground shared a picture of Arjun heaping praise on the youngster: “Not only has he been training with @MCCYC4L recently & but he has also been lending a helping hand to our Groundstaff!#ENGvIND#LoveLords.”

Last month, Arjun made a decent India U-19 debut by taking a wicket in his very first over of a Youth Test against Sri Lanka last month. In the first Youth Test, he finished with figures of 1 for 33 and 1 for 32 besides scoring a duck. In the second match, he clinched figures of 0 for 33 and 1 for 39 in the two innings he had bowled.
Since he was not played in the Youth ODIs, he flew to London to train at the MCC.
