CBSE releases CTET 2019 answer key at ctet.nic.in; raise objection by December 25

Candidates have to deposit Rs 1000 per challenge through debit or credit cards.

Common Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the Central Board of Education (CBSE) happened on 8th December and now CBSE has released the answer key of the same. 

The answer key has been released on the official website ctet.nic.in. Candidates can download the response sheet and answer key from the official website.

According to the official notification, "The answer keys of the CTET December 2019 have been uploaded on the website for viewing and challenged by the candidates. The challenges may be submitted online for the website up to 25, December 2019."

Candidates have to deposit Rs 1000 per challenge through debit or credit cards.

CTET 2019 was held in 110 cities all across the country on December 8. Over 28 lakh candidates appeared for the CTET December exam this year.

How to check CBSE CTET 2019 answer keys

1. Visit the official website of CBSE CTET 2019: ctet.nic.in

2. On the homepage, click on the link which says  ‘Downloading of OMR Sheet and Answer Key for CTET December 2019’

3. Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth

4. Click on the link and answer keys will be displayed on the screen

5. Raise objections against CBSE CTET 2019 answer keys in any

 

The CTET examination was conducted for two papers. The duration of both the papers was of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Paper 1 was for candidates who intend to teach from class 1 to class 5.

Paper 2 was for candidates who intend to teach from class 5 to class 8.

Both papers were objective in nature and were conducted in OMR-based mode.

Passing CTET is one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII in different government schools. Some private schools also choose to make CTET qualification a requirement for their teachers. 

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the CTET to the CBSE.

The test is held twice a year. Earlier in July, over 20 lakh candidates appeared for the CBSE CTET 2019 exam which was held in nearly 100 cities across the country.
