The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the decision to extended the dates of submission of Online Application Forms for various examinations due to the headship by parents and students amid coronavirus outbreak in the country.

While the new date for National Council For Hotel Management (NCHM) JEE 2020 online application has been extended from March 31 to April 30, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Admission Test 2020 for Ph.D and Open MAT got extended from March 23 to April 30.

The UGC National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) June 2020 application date was also altered by one month to May 16. CSIR- National Eligibility Test (CSIR-NET) June 2020 has been extended till May 15 with All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test date getting revised to May 31.

When it comes to the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) 2020 and Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam (JNUEE) 2020, the date for online application has been extended from March 31 to April 30.

The Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) in an official statement confirmed that the submission of application forms online will be accepted up to 4:00 PM with Submission of fee open till 11:50 PM.

The candidates and their parents can also pay the required fee through Credit, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI and PAYTM and are advised to keep visiting the concerned examination website and www.nta.ac.in for latest updates.

The number of positive coronavirus cases in India crossed 1,200 on Monday as the global death toll due to deadly virus reached 37,000. India has imposed a 21-day lockdown till April 14 to combat the spread of novel coronavirus.

While the confirmed cases in India stand at 1251, the number of deaths recorded is 32, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Monday. Out of these, 1117 are active cases while 101 have been discouraged after treatment.

Worldwide, coronavirus cases continue to rise dramatically, with the number of infections nearing 8 lakh on Monday. The global death toll has crossed 37,000.
