Designer diary: Love, hate and aliens!

Three couples, 14 contestants, two couples, a South starlet and one superstar. That's the week that was...

Saw Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. It's more like the first one, but I enjoyed it in parts. You see, I have several friends with the same problems. Some of their girlfriends call them babu, jaanu, puppy, gugu and other such pet names. And when we call the guy by those names, we have a good laugh at his expense. Then there are the irritating types: you know who, the ones who ask their men why they have to go out with their 'down-market' friends (read: us). Seriously I want to ask them, Jaanu, tum kahaan se up-market ho?

And then there are 14 aliens on Big Boss 9. Who are they and where are they from is what everyone is asking. I love Keith (Sequeira) and sweet Rimi (Sen). Don't know the others with their '80s style haircuts...

Then I have to go to Hyderabad and Lonavala. One for Julie and the other for Bigg Boss. As far as Julie is concerned, all her 86 outfits fit in a small strolley. With all this travel, I was hoping I would not give Salman Julie's clothes -- that would be a riot!

But what do I say about Salman, the star? He's getting fitter and bulking up for Sultan and looks dapper in anything I give him. I don't really care what the other designers have to say about the Bigg Boss style. I guess they are all jealous and dying to do his clothes...

But the icing on the cake is the Hate Story 3 promo. Two couples -- with Sharman's hands going everywhere on Zarine Khan (tohba!) and Karan's hands, too! She sure is having a ball of a time... and Daisy in a hot bikini under the sheets with Karan! Can't really tell who's sleeping with who! Have to wait and see this film. That sums up 23 people for you in one week. Ufff!
