A 22-year leap in 'Do Dil Ek Jaan'

It’s hardly been five months since it was launched but already there’s talk of Do Dil Ek Jaan going for a 22-year leap. Looks like all the passion play between the lead pair Raghu (Ayaz Ahmed) and Antara (Nikita Sharma) hasn’t helped the serial in upping its poor ratings. Says a source, “The serial was marketed well and there was a lot of drama in the show including steamy scenes, but the ratings haven’t been up to the mark. That’s the reason the makers have decided to take a leap and introduce a new storyline. The lead pair will probably be replaced.” While producer Saurabh Tewary was not available for comment, Nikita said that discussions are still on. “I am still shooting for the show and they are thinking how to take the story forward. However, I am not aware of any leap being introduced, but if that happens, I will surely not play a mom of a 20 year old guy or girl,” she says.
