Avengers: Age of Ultron - Is Captain America worthy of lifting Thor's hammer?

The Avengers: Age of Utron, the much awaited Marvel franchise has hit Indian theatres on April 24. Sequel to 2012 movie, The Avengers, Age of Ultron will now see the super-heroes fight on the bigger canvas of the Earth. Something more than ye old Manhattan.

The original cast will reprise their roles with the addition of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch who made their first appearance in the Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

In the world after the Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Steve Rogers is now rebuilding the SHIELD with the help of Tony Stark and Bruce Banner. In the process, Tony Stark now thinks that he doesn't need to be in the suit to fight whatever is threatening the existence of Earth. So he creates an artificial intelligence, Ultron, which incidentally has personality of Stark, but is a lot angrier than his creator.

Ultron thinks that the only way to bring peace on Earth is to wipe out the human race from the planet. In order to stop it and its army of robots, Avengers need to reassemble.

But in the universe after Captain America: The Winter Soldier and right before Ultron decides to introduce itself, lighter moments are being enjoyed by the Avengers in the Avengers tower.

A small hammer lifting competition is underway with some cocktails and nice jazz drums on the side. The only out of the box thing is that the Avengers are taking turns in lifting Thor's hammer, Mjölnir.

The competition starts with Clint Barton (Hawkeye) trying first. Then comes Tony Stark. At first, alone with wit and human strength and then after failing, with a glove from one of the Ironman suits. Failing on that attempt too, Stark now gets help from James Rhodes, also wearing an Ironman arm.

Alas, they both fail!

With no luck so far for the Avengers, even Bruce Banner fails, well, of course in his human form, his attempt looks nothing but funny and a little charming.

Then comes The Captain America himself, who manages to move it and the look on Thor's face when this happens is priceless. Is Steve Rogers worthy of lifting the weapon forged in the star? maybe or maybe not. We'll find out.

Directed by Joss whedon, The Avengers: Age of Ultron, will see  Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Robert Downey Jr as Ironman, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johannson as Black Widow, and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. Cobie Smulders and Samuel L Jackson will reprise their roles as Agent Maria Hill and Nick Fury respectively.

New cast members include Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlett Witch and Aron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver who made their first appearance in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. While Paul Bettany will reprise his role as JARVIS, he'll also play The Vision. James Spader will play Ultron.
