Bharati, the popular comedienne has used, not just her talent, but all her strength while presenting the Best Film nominations alongside Shah Rukh Khan at the glitzy awards ceremony. The ‘robust’ comedienne made svelte and slim Deepika sway in her arms, matching the King Khan’s ascent up the mandir ki seediya with Deepika in his arms, step for step. In this hilarious spoof of the star’s famous movie, Chennai Express, Bharti lifted Deepika from her seat all the way up to the stage, leaving the audience in splits.
While Deepika blushed a beetroot red and was embarrassed to say the least, Bharti seemed rather proud aout having pulled off the feat. With this parody, Bharti, has proved that she can easily double up for any mainstream Hindi film hero as she has what it takes to sweep a heroine off her feet - Literally!
