Hrithik is my punching bag: Sussanne Roshan

Superstar actor Hrithik Roshan and his better half, Sussanne have been a bundle of nerves of late. And the reason is Sussanne’s third baby — her interior decorating store.

Sussanne says that she was most anxious to unveil her work to the world in a formal way (she’s been into this field since a long time but preferred not to talk about it). But she admits that her husband was probably far more nervous for her big day, today.

“Hrithik is very proud of me but yes, he’s seen me work so hard to put everything together so he’s very excited about this new phase,” she says wide-eyed.

Sussanne also reveals that her husband is her best sounding board when she has to bounce any idea of someone. “He is my punching bag! Every time I’m stressed I turn to him and I think that is how every couple that connects is.” And who calls the shots when it comes to deciding on the decor at home?

“That goes without asking — Me! No doubts about that. Hrithik trusts my design sensibilities completely. He does give his opinion but I take it forward,” she adds.

Sussanne comes from a family of creative persons — her mom is an interior designer and her sister is a jewellery designer. We, however, can’t help but ask her that being a superstar’s wife, how important is a husband’s support to help her pursue her dream and she instantly says, “It means everything! I think that no matter what you do, it’s very important that your loved ones support you, no matter what. It is the same in case of a couple too. You have to help the person grow and fulfill their dream.”

And finally, did Twinkle Khanna (wife of actor Akshay Kumar) who also runs her own interior designing studios, give her any business or design suggestions?  Sussanne replies in the negative.

“Twinkle and I have been friends since a very long time. But no, she hasn’t even seen my store yet. So no suggestions this time,” she concludes.
