Mr.Local Teaser: Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara lock horns in this comedy entertainer

To mark the occasion of Sivakarthikeyan's birthday, the makers of his upcoming comedy entertainer 'Mr Local' unveiled the teaser of the film today. The movie directed by Rajesh and produced by K Gnanvel Raja's Studio Green is currently in the post-production phase. 

The teaser shows Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara, who are collaborating for the second time after director Mohan Raja's Velaikkaran, locking horns with each other. Sivakarthikeyan plays the role of a simpleton called Manohar while Nayanthara heads a multinational company called KV Entertainment.

She essays the role of Keerthana Vasudevan in the film. In a scene, Sivakarthikeyan challenges her that he will make her bow down sometime. Although the story appears in a regular commercial format, Rajesh's one-liners bring the roof down. 

Sivakarthikeyan's Malayalam slang in a scene is one of the highlights of the film, and it looks like Nayanthara plays a highly successful Malayali independent entrepreneur. Comedian Sathish has been roped in to provide comic relief. Hip-hop Tamizha's uptempo background score work and Dinesh Krishnan's colorful visuals, especially in the songs, also attract viewers. 

After the box-office debacle of director Ponram's Seema Raja, Sivakarthikeyan would now be raring to open his account at the ticket window this year with a solid film. Mr Local has been confirmed to hit screens on May 1st.
