Simbu takes on Vishal in an off-screen battle

The two Kollywood actors have never been known as rivals but now it looks like there’s some competition brewing between them. In the upcoming all-important Nadigar Sangam (Actors’ union) elections on October 18, Simbu will contest against Vishal for the post of vice-president.

The current Nadigar Sangam president Sarath Kumar made this statement yesterday at a press meet. Sarath Kumar also spoke about other issues that have been plaguing the actors’ union for quite some time now.

Simbu stated that he knew how the Nadigar Sangam has been functioning since the time he was a child. The child actor who is now one of the leading actors in the Tamil film industry said, “I know where the truth lies and the truth will win.”

Vishal has also been actively campaigning for the elections and recently met Sivakumar and Suriya for their support. Suriya’s brother Karthi is part of the Vishal faction.
