The first song from Samantha Akkineni and Ram Charan's movie, Rangasthalam, has been released and it's already generating social media buzz. This is Samantha's first movie after her wedding with Naga Chaitanya.

Titled 'Yentha Sakkagunnave Unnave Lachmi Lachmi Yentha Sakkagaunnave,' the song is composed and sung by Devi Sri Prasad.

Written by Chandrabose of Kochadaiiyaan fame, the song describes leading lady Lachmi's beauty from Chitti Babu's, played by Ram Charan, perspective.

The song has made beautiful use of acoustic guitar. The slow percussion beat will have you sway on your feet. The rift that starts at the mark of 2.45, is a thing to cherish.

This seems like a departure from Devi Sri Prasad's usual palette. Saving the best for director Sukumar, are we?

Rangasthalam is period drama set in the 80s. It is being speculated that the movie is a revenge drama with a dash of comedy. The teaser showed that his character is called the sound engineer of the village because instead of hearing the sounds, his Chitti Babu can see it.

Samantha Akkineni is sporting a de-glam look for the period movie. Pooja Hegde is making a cameo, possibly for a song, in the movie.

Mythri Movie Makers, the film has been majorly shot across Godavari belt.

Ram Charan will be next seen in director Koratala Siva's next movie. He is also producing Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi's next titled Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi.

Samantha will be next seen in director Thiagarajan Kumararaja' movie named Super Deluxe. Vijay Sethupathi and Ramya Krishnan will be her co-stars.

Rangasthalam is set to release on March 30.
