Akshay versus SRK?

From the silver screen, the battle moves to the idiot box. The buzz is that an upcoming talent hunt titled Dance Premier League (DPL) has roped in names like Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Salman Khan, Arshad Warsi and Sohail Khan as ‘super selectors’ for various regions and only one slot remains vacant. Guess who the toss up is between? Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan.

Both stars are reportedly game, since they want to use the platform to promote their upcoming films, but matters came to a pass after Salman stepped in.

According to sources within the channel, Salman is in favour of Akshay Kumar (his cold vibes with SRK are no secret) and since he already hosts a popular game show for the channel, the dice seems loaded in Akshay’s favour. Insiders admit they are in a major fix.

“The channel doesn’t want to annoy Salman by including SRK, but again, ignoring SRK is next to impossible.”

The only way out, it seems, is to ask either Sohail or Arshad to sit on the bench for this one. Watch this space!
