Catherine Zeta-Jones prefers older men to toyboys

Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has revealed that she finds older men more stable than young ones.

Unlike filmmaker Sam Taylor-Wood, 42, who is expecting a baby with her 19-year-old fiance, or Madonna, 51, who is romancing 22-year-old model Jesus Luz, Zeta-Jones, 40, prefers a man well versed with life.

"I know that young men are more unbiased, playful and firmer," the Telegraph quoted her as saying.

"There's no question about that, but they are also more selfish and narcissistic. This is why they never had a chance to go out with me," she said.

Of her husband Michael Douglas, 65, who is 25-years older than her, she said his knowledge about what he wants from life impresses her.

"He knows exactly what he wants and what life is about. That impresses me, but Michael can also be a real softie. He sends me flowers and cries when his kids say something particularly pathetic," she added.
