Concert organised for world peace in capital

Keeping up with the festive mood surrounding Christmas, the Delhi Diocese of Syrian Church today organised a musical concert for world peace in the capital.

There were several musical performances during the function titled 'Gloria in Excelsis' highlight of which was a carol performance by school children supported by a choir comprising of 100 people.

"To serve others is the message conveyed by all faiths, and we must all work towards keeping it up," said Kiran Bedi who was chief guest of the occasion.

Religious leaders like Swami Agnivesh, Imam of Jama masjid, Archbishop Abraham graced the occasion.
