Gauri Karnik makes a comeback

Remember the curly haired girl Gauri Karnik, who disappeared after her first Hindi film Sur with Lucky Ali?

Now, Gauri will be seen playing the lead in the TV series called Heroine. It’s directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and is part if the Specials@10 on Sony.

Gauri says, “I did not quite disappear as I did an international film, a music video with Aamir Khan and a couple of other films, after which I went on a self-imposed break.”

Speaking about the TV series she says it was a demanding and hectic experience. “But I thoroughly enjoyed it,” she ends.
