I don't have the eyes to watch modern films: Johnny Depp

It seems Johnny Depp is not a good cinemagoer. The actor insists he is one of those people who start snoozing when the film begins.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star partly dreads winning an Oscar - because then he'll have to sit through films so he can justify his vote as an Academy member.

"I don't do well with modern films," the Daily Star quoted him as saying.

"The opening credits come up and I'm just snoozing. It's not like they're not great films; I just don't have the eyes to watch them," he added.
