I want to dress up like Cleopatra, says Jennifer Kotwal

ActressJennifer Kotwal says her sense of fashion changes from bold to comfortable. 

Q: Bags or shoes, what’s your poison?
I hate carrying stuff! But one can’t avoid a bag completely. So I usually go for the short sling bags that are handy and cute. As far as shoes are concerned, black heels are my favourite! If I had to choose between shoes and bags, shoes would come first.

Q: The colours you can’t do without...
Pink is my favourite colour and I love wearing it! Especially, in nail colours and different shades of pink on accessories. I also love black, it’s so classic! Even when you don’t have time for make-up, a line of black kohl is enough to do the trick.

Q: What are the three must-haves in a girl’s wardrobe?
A pair of blue jeans is must. The faded they are, the better! One must also have a couple of white tees because they go well with most trousers. Girls normally end up with a lot of casual clothes.  So it’s necessary to store a nice, well-fitted, formal blazer that you can slip on for a formal meeting!

Q: What does style means to you?
I think being stylish is about being yourself. Never become a victim to fashion for the sake of it. Your personal style blended with the current trend should be the do! One also needs to be comfortable in what they wear!

Q: Indian wear Vs Western wear — what’s your pick?
Though Western wear is absolutely casual, trendy and comfortable, I would go for Indian wear. There is nothing that can be compared to the sensual sari and I love the ones that come with a thin border. It makes you look absolutely glamourous and sexy. It accentuates a woman’s body beautifully.

Q: If you had to attend a costume party, whom would you like to dress up as?
I would love to dress up as Cleopatra. I can totally see myself as an Egyptian queen and I think it will look sexy and elegant at the same time... I’m sure my friends would love see me as a queen!
