John Abraham is on a tiger trail

John Abraham plans to galvanise the entire country to come forward and save tigers. Deeply disturbed by the dwindling number of tigers in India, John says, “By the day the number of tigers in India is decreasing and the issue calls for everybody to step forward and do whatever they can in their capacity. We cannot let tigers  go extinct from our country. That would be a national shame. So, I have decided that from now on, along with supporting the cause of the elephants that I do in a big way, I will dedicate equal time for tigers and raise awareness across India. I will tour areas where poaching is rampant and talk to people and sensitise them about how they can help to curb the evil.”

John is producing a documentary for noted environmentalist and film-maker Mike Pandey. He says, “I will take the film that I’m making with Mike to all the film festivals in India and then we will go global with our documentary. The film is about four tiger cubs and their transition into adulthood. I will screen the movie to important dignitaries in India and the world. It would be great to screen the movie to the government of India and all the parliamentarians. I would also call for support of people associated with the cause of tigers. It would be great to have as many people as possible on board.”
