Kashmir crisis inspires Suniel Shetty

Actor Suniel Shetty, who recently starred in a movie titled Red Alert that focused on the issue of Naxals in the country, now wants to continue his tryst with serious social themes. Suniel says he would like to make an unbiased movie on the actual problems faced by the people of the Valley due to the insurgency. He would look at the plight of the army who is engaged in constant battle and  probe why people choose to turn terrorists knowing  that bullets are ready to greet them.

“Many of us don’t look at a problem objectively to find a solution. I read up on the Naxal issue while researching for the movie and came across startling facts on how and why the Naxals were born and how it slowly became such a big crisis for India. We, through our film, have tried to take no sides.” Suniel asserts.

The actor adds, “This again is a sensitive subject that  can easily run into controversies if facts are not portrayed correctly. I will approach it with a humane touch.”

Suniel says, “I can’t do anything before the perfect script that does not run me into trouble. But it will be an exciting project that I’m immensely passionate about.”
