Manasi Scott to cut a new music album soon

Singer Manasi Scott has made headway into Bollywood with her groovy songs backed by her sassy moves and is cutting a new music album whose working title is Farmana.

“The album, the entire process of making it over the past three years, the musicians I’ve met and worked with for it, has been an incredible experience. Three songs will release early next year in a new portal ArtistAloud.com where they’ve signed up 20 independent singer-songwriters,” reveals Manasi, whose album will feature eight tracks and will have several other prominent industry faces like Palash Sen (of Euphoria) and Raghav Sachar among others jamming with her.

“My albums have always been inspired by what my live show audiences like. But this is the first time I have composed and co-written it. The ideas are all mine,” the singer adds.

“At a time when remixes were working, for me to bring out an original music album was perhaps the best thing. My new album has been supported by my favourite musicians. Palash Sen, who I’ve admired forever, has sung on it, so have Mika and IshQ Bector.

Raghav Sachar has played on two songs — one of which Tere Pyaar Mein features in a Rohit and Mansi Joshi Roy film production,” says the singer who unabashedly admits that she still longs to do an item number in a Bollywood movie!
