Mark Wahlberg would return to rap only for Justin Bieber

American actor and rapper Mark Wahlberg has said that he can return to rap if he gets a chance to collaborate with Canadian singer Justin Bieber, because his daughter adores the young star.

Bieber said that his young daughter is a big fan of the 16-year-old star.

The 39-year-old actor began his career as a member of his brother Donnie's band New Kids on the Block, but left to create his own group, Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.

Wahlberg turned to acting in the 1990s and achieved a successful Hollywood career.

But he admitted that he would consider returning to music if Bieber asked him to record a collaboration.

"If Justin Bieber asks me, I'll say yes. Only because my daughter loves him," the Daily Star quoted him as telling the New York Post.
