Paris Hilton denies marijuana reports

Heiress Paris Hilton has denied carrying marijuana, claiming that she is having an amazing summer holiday despite being arrested twice by law enforcement officers over cannabis allegations.

Officials at an airport on the French island of Corsica reportedly stopped 29-year-old Hilton after jetting in on a private plane en route to Sardinia, Italy.

It is reported that authorities found less than a gram of marijuana in the Hilton's carry-on luggage but no charges were made against her and she was allowed to continue her journey, reports The Daily Express.

The incident surfaced just weeks after a member of Hilton's party was arrested for possession of marijuana during a World Cup game in South Africa.

But Hilton insisted that the two incidents have not disturbed her summer.

She told her Twitter followers that she was not formally arrested in Corsica.

"Just to put an end to these rumours. The stories saying I have been arrested are completely false," Hilton posted on Twitter.

"I am having the best vacation of my life! What an amazing summer! I feel so blessed and grateful for everything. I Love Life!! Now let's move on and everyone focus and enjoy their own summer time! Love you guys," she tweeted.
