Sushmita to rope in Lara Dutta

Sushmita Sen, who is currently working on her entrepreneurship venture  aimed at crowning a Miss India who will represent the country at the prestigious Miss Universe contest, is expected to rope in Lara Dutta and other beauties to play a key role in her project. Sources close to the venture reveal that the former beauty queen might have already contacted the girls asking them to come on board.

“Lara is a former Miss Universe like Sushmita and she is looking to rope her in to guide the girls participating in her pageants. She might play a mentor. If the association goes through, Lara will be seen taking time out of her schedule to spend with these girls. She will give tips on how to approach the contest through her own experience of bagging the award,” says an informer close to the development.

The source adds, “We hear that Lara is keen to be on board too but these plans are not being shared. It will take a while for her to get on board too. Both of them have worked in films too and they have a great understanding and bond. If they come together, it will benefit the girls immensely. Other beauty pageant winners like Dia Mirza, Priyanka Chopra and others might also be contacted.”

When asked about this development, Sushmita tells us, “It is true that I’m looking at many people on board who would help me out in grooming and training the girls. Other than me, you know how many Miss Universe’s India has produced. So, I’m looking forward to have fellow winners and other key individuals to be on board. As of now, my lips are sealed.”
