‘Watching movies gives me a fresh perspective on life’, says Rahul Mahajan

For Rahul Mahajan, who is all set to marry on television, watching films are about creative expression but with discretion. So whenever he is in the mood for a film, he prefers to choose the film wisely. 

"I enjoy watching movies because it gives me a fresh perspective on life, besides great entertainment. Watching movies after a day of work is refreshing. Some of the Hollywood films which I have really enjoyed are The Truman Show and Meet Joe Black. Jim Carrey was just brilliant in The Truman Show and Meet Joe Black had an interesting take on life," Rahul says.

 Among the recent Hindi movies, Rahul loved Love Aaj Kal. "I loved the casual take on life in Love Aaj Kal. Simple yet lots of fun; it had layers of hidden emotions,”  he adds.

Though he has grown up watching a lot of movies, he cites Black Friday as one of the movies that has made him think. "Anurag Kashyap has given a stark treatment to the subject and it stays close to it. Be it the colour treatment, the dialogues or the screenplay, everything is perfect. I loved the movie for being so real," he adds.
