Will Julia Roberts meet Sonia Gandhi?

Hollywood actor Julia Roberts is expected to come to India in August to promote her forthcoming movie Eat, Love, Pray since parts of the movie was shot in the country. Julia, during the shoot, had extensively toured India, especially the northern parts of the country, and was impressed by the culture, tradition, food and arts. But what’s most interesting about her visit this time is the rumour that the Oscar-winner might meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

A source says, “It may be purely a courtesy meet like many other Hollywood actors have done in the past. Julia may meet other political bigwigs too, but her meeting with Sonia Gandhi would depend on Sonia’s schedule on the given date.”

Talking about Julia’s love for India, the source informs, “For Julia, her last visit to India was an overwhelming experience. She did not have much time to visit all the places and cities that she wanted to since she was on a shooting schedule but she loved seeing India thoroughly. The country’s food, fashion, culture, arts have impressed the Hollywood star a lot.”
