Extended trailer for Tom Hardy's Marvel anti-hero Venom landed on Tuesday and it stirred up the superhero genre pretty good.

The trailer begins with Dr Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed) announcing the beginning f a new chapter in the history as the viewers get their first look at gooey alien symbiote.

Then we see Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) announce that as a journalist, he follows people who do not want to be followed. Well within his rights, given Drake is clearly covering up something at Life Foundation, Brock gets into investigative mode to figure out the mysterious situation around him.

The situation is, Drake wants to integrate human and symbiote to bring in the next step of evolution. The specimens picked out for the experiment seem to drop like flies. But Brock gets bitten by one of these specimens and turns out his body is a good host and Venom can thrive in symbiosis.

The follow-up montage becomes darn interesting when Brock and Venom keep negotiating the terms and conditions of living in one body like a meek landlord and aggressive tenant. Add good action scenes in it and you have Venom trailer.

Cue the goosebumps when Brock says, "We Are Venom."
