The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress locked horns over the prices of Petrol and Diesel while several opposition parties across the country protested against rising fuel prices.
The BJP took to Twitter to tell the 'truth', however, they were trolled by the users for the wrong graphic.
“Truth of hike in diesel prices!," tweeted the official handle of BJP with an image depicting the rise in fuel price over the past decade.

Later, the Congress party also joined the tirade against BJP and tweeted, "When you have to hide a 343% increase in taxes, but don't know how. Even we couldn't resist retweeting this."
“There! Fixed it for you @BJP4India # #MehangiPadiModiSarkar (sic),” said Congress in another tweet with a graph.

However, looking at the graph posted by the BJP, Twitter users had a filled day with many questioning the logic behind it.
