Kumbh Mela 2019: List of important numbers that you should keep handy

The sacred city of Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj will observe Kumbh Mela from January 15, 2019 to March 4, 2019.

The Kumbh Mela is held every six years while the Maha Kumbh Mela comes after 12 years. Now, the tent city with all the modern facilities and other basic amenities is being set up for Kumbh 2019 in Prayagraj.

The Kumbh Mela has been inscribed on the list of “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity” by UNESCO in 2017. This reflects the significance of Kumbh worldwide. Kumbh at Prayagraj encapsulates the science of astronomy, astrology, spirituality, ritualistic traditions, social and cultural customs and practices making it extremely rich in knowledge.
