MSBSHSE likely to announce Maharashtra HSC result 2018 in last week of May

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is likely to announce the Class 12 or Higher Secondary Certification Examination (HSC) in the last week of  May.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is likely to announce the Class 12 or Higher Secondary Certification Examination (HSC) in the last week of  May.

According to media reports, the date of HSC results 2018 will be notified on May 28. But Shakuntala Kale, MSBSHSE chairperson, has asked students to not pay attention to the rumours and false reports being spread around. According to a report in Indian Express, she said, "The HSC results will come first followed by the SSC results. I am advising students to stay calm, MSBSHSE will announce the results on time."

Over 14 lakh students appeared for the HSC 2018 exam conducted by MSBSHSE from February 21 to March 20. There's is a possibility of a slight delay as teachers who were checking Class 12 answer sheets went on strike from February 21 to March 9 on account of reasons like salary hike, pension, and changed provident fund plans. 

In 2017, the Class 12 results were declared on May 30. Girls outshone boys with the pass percentage of 93.5. Boys registered an overall pass percentage of 86.65. In all, 89.50% students cleared their exams.

Here's how students can check their Maharashtra HSC 2018 results - 

1. Visit any of the following websites -   

mahresults.nic.in, 

maharashtraeducation.com 

results.mkcl.org. 

examresults.net.

2. Enter your roll number/registration number, DOB and other required details in the respected fields.

3. Click on ‘Submit’

4. Your 12th result 2018 will be displayed.

5. Take a printout for future reference
