One train was cancelled and six others were diverted following the rail mishap on Mathura-Vrindavan section today, a spokesman at North West Railways (NWR) headquarters said here.

Agra-Nizamuddin passenger train has been cancelled at Agra Cant.

Amritsar-Mumbai Central Express has been diverted via Rewari-Jaipur-Sawaimadhopur, he said, adding Howrah-Sriganganagar Udhyan Aabha Express has been diverted via Ghaziabad-Tundla-Kanpur.

Mumbai Central-Ferozepur Express, Bandra Terminus-Amritsar Express, Habibganj-Nizamuddin Express and Jabalpur-Nizamuddin Express have been diverted via Mathura-Alwar-Rewari-Delhi.

NWR has also opened helpline services in Jaipur: 1800-180-613, Ajmer: 0145-2429642 and Udaipur: 0294-2487390, 2483979.
