Sadbhavna Express to reach major cities next week
After focusing on smaller cities and towns, particularly the tribal dominated ones, chief minister Narendra Modi is all set to reach out to citizens in bigger cities, starting with Vadodara on December 15, with his Sadbhavna Mission.

After focusing on smaller cities and towns, particularly the tribal dominated ones, chief minister Narendra Modi is all set to reach out to citizens in bigger cities, starting with Vadodara on December 15, with his Sadbhavna Mission.
The CM's one-day fast in Vadodara will be followed by Surat on December 18. The Sadbhavna Mission will reach Jamnagar two days later, i.e. on December 20.
The next stop of Modi's Sadbhavna fast is scheduled to be held in Junagadh on December 22, followed by Rajkot on December 26. The one-day fast at Rajkot was originally scheduled for December 17, but the date was changed. The reason could not be ascertained.
After attracting national attention through his Sadbhavna fast from September 17 to 19 in Ahmedabad, Modi announced that he would hold 1-day fasts in all 26 districts and eight municipal corporation areas in the state.
Starting with Dwarka on October 16, the CM has observed one-day fasts at eleven places so far. These include Navsari, Patan, Tapi, Dangs, Banaskantha, Kutch, Porbandar, Rajpipla, Bodeli and the latest in Bhavnagar on December 3.
The next round of Sadbhavna fasts, which are seen by many as a precursor to early assembly polls, will be held in the bigger cities, which would be followed by fasts in the remaining parts of the state. Modi plans to cover the entire state in the next couple of months.
The BJP, which has 120 out of 182 MLAs in the state assembly as of now, has set its sights on winning 151 seats in the forthcoming assembly polls. Led by Modi, the saffron party expects the Sadbhavna fasts to play a big role in achieving the goal.
