TMC chief Mamata Banerjee gave a clarion call for BJP's ouster in next year's general elections from her 21st July annual mega rally, held in Kolkata. With eyes firmly set on Delhi, Didi spent most of her time to give clear message about the next elections and how it is important for TMC to do well. She lashed out on BJP's policies and said that emperor greater than Hitler or Mussolini is now spreading hate in the country.

TMC supremo virtually blamed BJP for rising cases of lynching in the country and said that she rejects saffron party's definition of Hindutva. Regarding Modi govt's trust vote win, TMC supremo said that they may have numbers in the parliament, but are running out of friends outside.

The TMC observes the Martyrs' Day every year on July 21 in its bid to pay homage to 13 Youth Congress workers, allegedly killed in police firing in 1993 during the Left Front regime in West Bengal. Banerjee was a leader of the Youth Congress at that time.

The rally also comes a day after the no-confidence motion against the Modi government was decisively defeated.

In the meeting, Mamata Banerjee said that the exit of Modi government is virtually a foregone conclusion. She said that BJP will not win more than 150 seats in the next Lok Sabha elections. She set an aggressive target of clean sweep of all 42 seats in the next Lok Sabha elections. Mamata in her rally repeatedly said that in future Bengal will show path to India. She also announced that fefderal front rally will be held in Kolkata on January 19 next year to plot blueprint for 2019 elections.
