It’s time to go ethnic
Ugadi is around the corner and it’s time for women to go ethnic. Pick from a range of saris, salwar suits and dupattas at Keya Boutique as they have a special collection of dress materials designed by Neelima Lal this Ugadi.

Talking about the collection, Nalini Naidu, owner of Keya Boutique, says, “Neelima is a regular designer for the store and this time around, she has worked on a new collection for the occasion of Ugadi. Since the festival calls for an element of ethnicity, she has come up with some unique Indian designs on salwar suits, saris and dupattas. Her designs are mostly hand-woven and cotton-based. With usage of natural dyes, the collection is indeed beautiful.” Her range of dupattas starts from Rs1,500, saris from Rs3,500 and dress materials from Rs1,000.

A Visual delight
Kynkyny Art launches a collection of highly collectable folios by fine art photography artist Pallon Daruwala.

The photo exhibition, which is one of a kind in the city, will begin today with a special preview. Giving us an insight about the exhibition, Namrata Radhakrishnan, director of Kynkyny Art says, “Pallon is a very famous artiste with over 25 years of experience in this field. We are exhibiting about 40 folio sets of three and two of his recent works. There is no particular theme for the entire series as each set talks about different things. For instance, there is a set on Russell Market and we even have some fine art pictures of old Bangalore clubs amongst others.”

The price begins at Rs8,000 for a set of two (A4 size) and Rs12,000 for the larger ones. A set of three will cost around Rs18,000 onwards. The exhibition will be open to public from March 21 and will be on till March 26.
