60 students hospitalised for food poisoning in Pune

About 60 students of Symbiosis Management Institute at its Hinjwadi campus near here, were hospitalised today with symptoms of food poisoning.
       
The students who had eaten at the hostel mess last night took ill this morning and were rushed to two hospitals in the vicinity where they were being treated, according to DrRajeev Yerawadekar, Dean, Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences.
       
"None of the admitted students is serious", he said adding the cause of food poisoning was being investigated by officials.
